HR Tech 2019: Trends that’ll Shape the Future

Innovation in HR has added advantages; for one it has streamlined the complete enrollment process in terms of speed, accuracy, and cost. Revamping the HR model will see a definite drop in the manual operations. These can be canning piles of resumes, screening candidates and HR-candidate communication.

Last year, investors pushed around $3.1 billion investment at HR Tech 2018, for automation in recruiting. However, this year (2019) it’s expected to be huge. With the growing adoption of artificial intelligence tools in the industry, experts predict to see a 40% rise. This would be in terms of productive and healthy work-life balance.

#2. Remote workforce

Lately, more and more companies have rolled out provisions for remote working and with technology being a key enabler, the trend has picked up rapidly. The concept of the remote workforce has not only cut down the infrastructure cost but has ensured increased and improved productivity.

The talent acquisition process is exhaustive but artificial intelligence has backed technology as the pressure of time-consuming tasks in the manual processes of the HR department will soon be lift-off. Earlier, HR managers through regular pieces of training, workshops, assessment programs, and surveys would collect data in order to recognize employees’ skills, which they would then employ in building them as assets for the company. The AI-enabled tools will identify, assess, learn and develop from the data collected and would help companies develop employees’ soft skills such as collaboration and emotional intelligence.
